RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At WellPlacedHome, we take pride in producing durable, thoughtfully crafted custom made products designed for long-term use. All items are made to order using premium steel, wood, and cast iron materials. Please review this policy carefully before purchasing.

RETURNS

We accept returns on damaged or defective items only, within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must have arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect
  • You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and packaging
  • Returns must be approved before items are shipped back

Once your return request is reviewed and approved, we will provide the correct return shipping address and full instructions. Please do not ship items back without prior authorisation as they may not be accepted.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned due to their custom nature:

  • Personalized or engraved products
  • Custom made or made-to-order items
  • Products modified or customized at the customer's request

These items are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged or defective.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

Once reviewed, we will work with you to resolve the issue which may include sending replacement parts, replacing the damaged product, or providing a partial or full refund where appropriate.

REFUNDS

Once a returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase only, provided production has not yet begun. After this period cancellations may not be possible as preparation, customisation, or production may already be underway.

EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. To request an exchange please contact us at hello@wellplacedhome.store

RETURN SHIPPING

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. Because many of our products are made from durable materials such as steel, wood, or cast iron, some packages may be heavier than typical retail shipments. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. WellPlacedHome is not responsible for items lost during return transit.
